Prepositions: Time (IN, ON, AT)

Read this from a local newspaper. Thought it could help.


Use IN when you refer to a year, month or decade:
In 1987; In the 80's; In January

Use ON when you refer to a day, date or holiday:
On Monday; On the 23rd; On Mother's Day; On January 23rd

Use AT when you refer to a specific time:
At 8:00; At dawn; At noon; At the scheduled time
